I have confirmed this issue happens on Pandora, when I used Plex streaming from my home PC it did not have the issue. Update: As u/resqguy86 pointed out, it was just Pandora. Pandora currently shows 5hours of active use with 0min background so not 100% sure if that's the issue or not but I've had allow background usage enabled and experienced the problem. (It's not showing in the Apps Not Optimized section.)Īnyone else encountering a similar issue? I've seen a lot of chatter about it but it was mainly the background portion. One question I have is it was set in the "apps optimized" section, I just moved it out of there. I've enabled the option for to allow background activity. It's even randomly pausing when the screen is on (was browsing the internet when it happened)ĭoing some research, I've found several forums saying to disable the app being put to sleep.
#Pandora randomly pauses Bluetooth
So, thinking that it's a Bluetooth issue i've actually just used it in speaker mode. At first I thought it was a Galaxy Buds issue, so I started using my LG headset, same thing. It's at different intervals seemingly random. When listening to Pandora, (Not sure if it affects other services, but I'll check it out) the music will randomly pause. Something that has been driving me nuts recently, seems like it started about a month ago. I'm going to play around with this for a bit and post a solution in case anyone goes insane later trying to figure it out. My assumption is: Whenever i'm outside, there are interruptions with Bluetooth that are small enough to not actually disconnect but large enough so it actually pauses. When I opened the screen there was a notification with a pair of headphones on it however it went away too fast for me to click it. EDIT: Found the issue, when coming into range of any bluetooth device (in this case my galaxy watch) Pandora paused.
